Please send check for $20, payable to MA4, to 730 WEst Main, Jefferson City, MO 65101.Levy Conference Report: We had 43 attendees, representing 20 Missouri Counties at the 4th annual Senior Levy Board Meeting held on Oct. 27th. This was a pre-conference session prior to the opening of the Mo Summit on Aging. Attendees had an opportunity to learn about House Bill 351 and how counties can organize to pass the senior citizens levy in their county. 46 Missouri counties out of 115 have passed the senior levy. New and established boards shared information on policies & procedures, governance structure, senior programs the levy funds, and fiscal management. This conference will be offered again at the 2009 Missouri Aging Summit.
